Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl

Fall is upon us! Before I transition my breakfast to a more warming and grounding meal - I am going to make this delicious pumpkin pie smoothie on repeat. Before I share the recipe, here are a few reasons I love enjoying a smoothie bowl for breakfast:
- Real talk, it tastes like I’m enjoying dessert for breakfast
-I can easily combine protein, healthy fats and fiber to balance my blood sugar to set myself up for an energized day
-I despise taking pills so I often blend my daily supplements
-It’s quick and easy to take on the go if needed
Recipe
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
Small frozen banana
1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice
1 date
1/4 teaspoon turmeric (I promise you will not taste it and it’s great for inflammation!)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon sunflower butter
1 scoop protein powder (I use Paleovalley Bone Broth Protein)
Top with granola (I use Nature’s Path Grain Free Granola - Maple Almond)
